Internal and External Application of Carbon Fiber Reinforcement on Telecommunication Monopoles Towers.
We, in association with a professional structural engineer, have developed a method of increasing the capacity of existing telecommunication monopole structures by internally fixing vertical carbon fiber strips at predetermined positions.
The system has been deployed successfully on several Monopoles in locations varying from coastal, escarpment and inland sites. We have also completed work on a camouflage monopole in an urban area.
